Description I found a weird little sketch book so I have been drawing in it ..... The drawings are more odd than anything, but, somehow they are unmistakably mine. I didn't want to take the time to post them all here.... so if you are interested....

Look at all the beautiful art I missed during my sabbatical!

'Darby O'Gill and the Little People', hehe, I loved that film as a kid, watched it every St Paddy's Day.
Never realized 'til just now that Sean Connery was in it.

Hey! Welcome back! Hope your sabbatical was restful.

Yep, I watch Darby O'Gill every year.... When I was a kid the Banshee really freaked me out..... and I still buy the trick photography I can't believe it works as well as it does.
I didn't realize it was Sean Connery either.... that is until I saw it as an adult.

I think the song was a hit too!
...for St. Patrik's day I also bought  a box of Lucky Charms. then I went on a 20 minute rant (conservatively... ) about how the marshmallows suck now. I can't even tell what  some of them are supposed to be .... things went down hill after they added purple horse shoes blah blah blah....It was a very cranky old lady rant. I would say they ruined my childhood.... but I never really ate Lucky Charms as a kid... I just remember the commercials.

OOH!!! looking at the box just now I found out there was a free comic book inside... why did I ever talk shit about my Lucky Charms.....
My day just improved.

Catchy tune, but the clip is synchronized horribly. Was the movie like that too? I don't remember.
Lucky Charms, we had them once in awhile at my house. I think my brother and sister probably picked all the marshmallows out :]
Ooh, a comic book. There must be some cereal box fan art lurking around this site someplace. There's probably a fetish group for it.

Thank You!
I kind of thought it seemed the closest to what I have been playing around with lately too.... but then I never know exactly what my style is.... I can be a bit random...

I don't know about my style neither It's something that only other people can see, but feel free to experiment a bit too For example, I want to draw something simple, which will not take a whole page to cover and be much faster to finish

Are your digital pieces faster? I imagine they would be .....

Even when I work small I take a lot of time.... I push things out pretty fast in terms of days but there are a lot of 4-5 hour sessions ......
Recently I made the mistake of buying myself a larger sketch book . That has kept me occupied!

It feels faster. My drawing sessions also take ~5-6 hours without longer than 5 minute breaks, but I have less of them than I used to with traditional pen and paper. There're at least two reasons I can think of:

(1) I spend less time on erasing and worrying will the sheet of paper tear apart or not

(2) my pieces are less detailed, cause doing something digitally is harder to estimate how much details I can put to keep them visible. With your pieces I doubt you would be able to keep them so detailed (especially the two recent ones), even with good Wacom tablet and good, pressure sensitive stylus. So you would be faster also.

What I also noticed, to keep the decent amount of details, you have to work on much bigger canvas. I drew my traditional pieces on A4 size paper sheets, but now all my pieces are at least A1 size, so they're ~3 times larger in both height and width dimensions.
