His nationality is stated as Sweden, so he is Swedish (regardless of his half Swedish ethnicity). The only reason he went to Japan was probably to find his dad, Heihachi, as it's implied and partly revealed in the main and Lars' personal story and encounters in T6.

Also revealed/implied in T6, his Swedish mother raised him in Scandinavia, most probably Sweden (hence his Swedish nationality), so I wouldn't say he's a Japanese character at all just because they chose for his voice actor to speak Japanese. They even made him look Swedish (which, realistically, he prob wouldn't if his dad is of Japanese descent).

I don't know if you were being sarcastic with your comment so this is in case you were being serious haha! As a side note, I have been wishing for them to find a voice actor who's fluent in Swedish and have him speak his native tongue! He's one of the few characters who still doesn't... Not fair, and quite disappointing tbh.

i think dragonuv would be my strongest character though in terms of gameplay
how unfortunate, ey? haha. jin requires higher level execution and asuka is too gimmicky to be a solid character
