We read the story "Flowers for Algernon". I really liked it, but its so sad. The movie (which we watched) is even sadder.
She gave us a list of different projects and we were to choose one. The one I chose was to creat a collage of images and words that have the story as the context.

the movie i saw didnt match up at all with the book.like why was dr.strauss a woman ._. but the book was amazeing,i finished it in one day.

I know these comments are old, but I'm wondering the same thing, there's a different FFA movie but it probably messes things up just as much, I saw part of that one. We're watching Flowers For Algernon tomorrow at school, I just hope it's the one with Dr Strauss as a woman because the other one a has a non-school-appropriate scene.
