the movie i saw didnt match up at all with the book.like why was dr.strauss a woman ._. but the book was amazeing,i finished it in one day.

I know these comments are old, but I'm wondering the same thing, there's a different FFA movie but it probably messes things up just as much, I saw part of that one. We're watching Flowers For Algernon tomorrow at school, I just hope it's the one with Dr Strauss as a woman because the other one a has a non-school-appropriate scene.

That story was very sad.
The movie,was slow.
It was barely in color. Yet it had color.
It was old.
leave it as that.

I wanted to cry when we read the ending of the story.
The movie was TERRIBLE. It was even MORE sad, and it moved slowly [like you said].
