As promised, here's my design of Beach Varian!
So while Rapunzel and the gang were stranded on that island, am I the only one who feels like things would have been a lot easier for them if some sort of genius inventor tagged along to build helpful contraptions out of beach findings? (He's holding a coconut contraption he's working on in case anyone was wondering... )
Of course I am well aware that it wouldn't have worked given the canon plot (and also would have seemed too much like a Gilligan's Island spoof, lol) and the episode was perfectly lovely the way it was... but it still kind of makes me sad, because it would have been SO PERFECT!
