I kinda wish they had a rematch. The two dueling each other without Yugi worrying about Atem risking someone's life to win and Mai surrendering because she can't stand to see her Harpies go down one by one. But that's me.

Yeah I know right? It's so infuriating they were never allowed them to have the rematch they promised to each other! D:< I don't really see the pairing in a romantic light, to be honest... I was just hoping for some bonding moment that would let Mai and Yami become good buddies, but the writers never let this happen, because romantic polarshipping must take precedence over everything else. Period. Ahhh... Oh well.Ā
