Description Black and blue, a kiss for you
But not a peck for me
Red and white, we'll be alright
Along the open sea
Pink and green, we're always seen
When day turns into night
But if the moon, the stars, the way to mars
Was seen in holy light,
I guess that we, yes you and me,
Would see what others could not
And what we saw jumped from the jaw
Of the fish that couldn't be caught
Yet since it was, I swear it does
Dance when you are gone
And so I sing, of love, of all things;
At least until it's dawn
But with the sun it starts to run
And now I stand alone
But if I turn I will be burned
Through skin, through flesh, through bone
So into the pot they simmer and rot
Awaiting the rare blue moon
And as I stir I think what were
To become if it all at noon
For past are the days to think of the ways
To render the past undone
And so I sit, heart full of grit
Watching the colors of the sun

Yay you finished it.

I think it would make a good song, but as far as a poem goes, it doesn't really make sense in some areas. I like the rhythm to it, but it's inconsistent in a lot of parts.

Yes well, that's what happens when you write something that you forgot what was about in the first place / you run out of colors...
