Okay, now the toothbrushes themselves are just a random idea one time in the bathroom. And because I just happened to think about Justin Bieber electric toothbrushes. The rest of this comic came out of later wacky thoughts that became that.I don't wanna be controversial but what the brunette & the ginger were talking about are my mixed feelings about Owl City now. I've always loved his songs but since he got well-known his music started to sound... well I don't know, more mainstream? Or am I wrong and should I check back all the songs from ATBAB? Cuz I like the older songs.
The inappropriately-creepy random salesman is just doing his job, and I'd buy those toothbrushes. Come to think of it he kinda looks like Pete Wentz 0_o

Yesh!!!! And yeah unfortunately his more popular songs (especially collaborations with other artists) tend to be a but more mainstream. Unfortunately that's why those better known songs are so popular. But if you look at his less well-known songs and older songs they're still amazing!! Here's hoping owl city can keep its originality!!!!!!

Good Time is a fun song nevertheless & maybe it's cuz Carly had gone famous thats why it's quite unlikely seeing her in one of his songs.

By the way, you don't have to worry about his music going mainstream. He said he's going to work on his next album by himself again. All Things Bright and Beautiful and The Midsummer Station are still good, though! You should give them another listen! Plus, he's only got two songs that have gone big on the radio, and even if he DID go mainstream, he'd never let it go to his head. He's not like that.

"Dental Care" and "To the Sky" are my go-to's. If they made those into tooth brushes a couple years back, I swear I'd be brushing my teeth every second XDD

Also, I don't blame you. The music on Owl City's new album is a bit, as you said, "mainstream". And I don't think that was unintentional. I still think it maintains some of his old charm, but there's no denying he made this album to get in closer touch with the wider public.
I wasn't a fan of the new album at first, but I learned to love it. All except for "Bombshell Blonde" [bonus iTunes track]. I just can't get into that song; it's WAY too different. But all the rest are good.
I went to my first Owl City concert a few weeks ago. I about died when he went WAY old school and performed "Early Birdie" - it was epic!
If you haven't listened to all the songs on "The Midsummer Station", I suggest "Dreams and Disasters", "Shooting Star", "Embers" most and foremost, 'cuz those maintain the most original Owl City sound.
And though they're a bit different, I also love "Silhouette" and "I'm Coming After You". Then there's "Good Time", of course. Not really sure of your opinion on that, though.
Anyways, sorry for the long comment! Great comic, by the way! ;D

I have to agree with you I guess, but I haven't listened to all the songs yet, probably cuz I'm still finding time to download the songs or listen to them in Youtube. I've listened to Silhouette though and pretty much loved it.
