I'm sorry, the link is gone for him...Someone made an edit of the modeler's models and refused to take it down when she requested. Ruined it for all of us :I
And I'm sorry, she told me personally not to give him or any of her other models out ^__^;

Apparently there's more than one game (found some screenshots of an action-based one while I was looking for a dl for Okita) but the one I'm playing is an otome game, and after you get set on one guy's path, the story goes radically, radically, radically differently, so I sort of wonder which one the anime would follow, or maybe it combines them as best it can...

I know it's an otome game. I've played some of Hijikata's path before, but I never got to play the others.

Ah. I've been playing it a lot since I've been unable to concentrate on anything more involved due to a bad sprain. I've gotten most of the endings now, except Saito and Hijikata. (I'm saving Hijikata for last since he's Shinichiro Miki!)

It's amazing to me how different the paths get. Did the anime just focus on history + rasetsu, or did they try to bring in some of the other storylines? (Like the oni, and various characters trying to...uh, actually, I don't think I should finish that thought since it would be a spoiler, but there are a lot of different "final battle" types, as it were...)

For the most part, I'd say they focused a lot on the history. For the second season, the focus was mainly on Hijikata's storyline more than the other characters...and the ending of the anime was like the ending of his story line, so if you haven't played that far, you might want to save watching season 2 until after you've played it. (I went back and played the other endings XD)
