Re-make of my piece for Quixotic-Art-Book !

It was my first legit attempt at making a full blown illustration, which you can probably tell with the composition and flat blue sky taking up half of the page haha. ;; Tried focusing on a more dynamic composition here. <: I feel like it's lacking a lot of color contrast (which is why I changed the girl's hair & dress from blonde/pink to blue/black) but I wasn't really sure how to tone it done without detracting from the fluffy mahou shoujo sparkly feel I was going for. XD Still have lots to improve, but pretty happy with this comparison! * A *

Planning on using this as a print, it's A2 sized but may shrink it down to A3 because I only have A3 bags laugh. ;;

Also, submitting a lot these past few weeks haha I guess got my art groove going at the moment. XD Why now - should be studying for ACTs and working on college apps. ; v ;
