May look familar, I already submitted a version of this..but I was glad to find I still have the original vector file on an old Imac I plugged in to see what was there. I found about 100 illustrator drawings, so I will probably be updating some of my old vector submissions and adding some new (old) ones as well...anyway this was one of my favorites, and a relief to find this file again.Related content

Brilliantly colored. I absolutely love the ripple effect around his afro and again I must say the color contrast is beautiful.
This makes me think of the video for All Along Watchtower just at the beginning when he lights up a joint and holds it between his two fingers.

See? Thats the thing about digital art. I recovered a years worth of work that I stored digitally,and have done the same. Thing is about a Hendrix portrait, cant look at it without hearing the music in your mind!

Well I do...but as I look more at them I have pretty much posted everything worth posting. The nice thing about finding them is when all you have is a little crappy low res jpeg, nothing can be done for a print or to sell a design. But with that vector file I can scale it up to whatever is needed. Thanks

This was done probably five years ago in Adobe Illustrator 9...which was old then.

I would love to get a big giclee print of it done and framed..it just cost so darn mauch to do that. Well I think it does anyway, I never seem to have the extra funds to look into it. Spend my extra money on other stuff I don't need ha. Thanks for comment
