Description
The small house contained a bed, fireplace, some clothes in the corner, and cookware. It was very sad compared to other serfs, as for they had windows, and much more cookware than the small house had. The small house was located in the furthermost part of the Dyel Manor. If someone were to walk from the house to the village, it would take about an hour, even forty-five minutes on a good day to get there. Luckily, there was someone willing enough to do that everyday. That person is Lisa Percy. She was the only woman serf with no husband and kids. She didn’t have interest in being like other women. She didn’t want a husband, she wanted a wife. No one knows this fact, but it is a question upon many people. Lisa wore boots and pants. Of course, she wore those under her stupid girl clothes. She enjoyed spending her free time in the forest, watching the river flow and the animals roaming around. She especially spends her time wishing that women will be able to do more in the future.
Lisa sat on her bed. The sun was rising and the sky was getting brighter. She couldn’t sleep at all last night. Blurgh, the crops are gonna seem like a handful today... she thought. Lisa got up, and put on her working clothes. She got a piece of raisin bread and left the house. Might as well go to Church today… Andy did tell me to meet him there... Lisa walked down the path she took to go to the village. It was a long path, but it was quite peaceful. No clomping of horses, and no one to drop their filthy litter on the ground. I feel better with the natures of this world….
Lisa arrived at the Church. Everyone seems to be there for some odd reason. And everyone seems to be dressed up in a way. She slipped through the crowd and got into the Church, Andy was waiting at the Crossing. She ran as fast as she could toward him. “Why are there so many people here?” She asked. “Well, it was going to be a surprise party for you, but then I found this relic,” Andy whispered, “it is telling me it can time travel. I believed it, so I made everyone go outside.” Lisa raised an eyebrow with concern and disbelief. “Are you going crazy? Why would you even think that?” “I don’t know. I just thought we could try it out!” Lisa sighed. She loved his wacky imagination, but this was real crazy. Witchcraft crazy. Well, maybe a little less, but it’s close. “Urgh, I don’t believe you, but let’s see if you’re magical relic can do that.” Lisa vivaciously murmured. Andy laughed like a laughing goat. Of course, this caused Lisa to cackle at his expense. After a little of nonsense, they both went to the entrance and opened the doors. Everyone came seeping in like nobles going to join the Crusades. “CHEERS TO MISS LISA PERCY! SHE’S GETTING MARRIED!!” Everyone zealously yelled, on purpose. Lisa wasn’t surprised they would do that, but she did get tense that he didn’t tell her that she was supposedly getting married to her best friend. Although, she realized he was like her and wanted a good husband. Andy shot her an innocent look, and she shot back a smoggy look. Her friendship is too stable and precious to break. Soon after everyone was gone to the altar (which was very far away), Andy and Lisa walked through the doors and went to the blacksmith shop. That is where Andy’s Father works. Surprisingly, he’s not as strong as you’d think he’ll look. Nor does he look as you think. Andy is strong built, clean and nice-looking. His father is quite skimpy, dirty, and….. actually nice-looking too. He makes some cool stuff though. Andy elbowed Lisa on the arm. “Don’t forget to call me Zany… Okay?” He said. Lisa nodded in agreence. “Won’t forget…. Hopefully.” They hiked onward, cautiously tossing the relic to one another.
Her earrings bounced. (They weren’t called earrings, as for there was no earrings in Medieval times, I do believe. Lisa got them by Andy’s dad and stuff.) They waited for Sebastian to come back and give them their bell necklaces. They always get them when they are ready to set out of the manor. Andy's father was busy, so his helper, Sebastian, was the only one there to get them. Before Lisa could suggest leaving a note, Sebastian walked in. “Where are you guys going, why, and do you have permission?” Both looked at each other shyly. Lisa held the relic tightly against her stomach. “Yes-s-s-s…" Andy frumbled, "We were told by the priest to go to the town after we marry, so Lisa could see her parents. The priest convinced the lord that we could.” That was was partially true, as for the lord never really allows Lisa to leave the Manor. Only on occasions, or when he feels gleeful. Sebastian hesitated for a moment. He scanned the both of them, slowly. Finally, he handed them their bells and politely shooed them away.
As soon as they got out, Lisa giggled with relief. “Talk about intense.” She muttered. “Yeah, it was like when we were getting inspected by Mum every time we went to the bakery..” Andy replied. Suddenly, there was cracking sound by Lisa’s feet. They slowly gazed upon the broken skull. Both wore wicked faces. Silence fell upon the two, as they quickly picked up the pieces. “I’m sorry Zany! I was holding it tightly, then some weird force made it..Like…” Lisa blabbered, “...Break into pieces! I swear it was NOT me! Well, it was, but I didn’t make it fall!” Andy looked fierce, and ready to choke her to death. Luckily, they were pulled into a black void of complete nothing. COMPLETELY nothing.
Lisa heard a slight groaning voice from her right. The surface they were laying on was quite soft. She turned and opened her eyes a slight bit. Her eyes saw a white surface with some objects and Andy’s back. Her ears rang of honking cars and people screaming at each other next door. She quietly got up and went into the room with some type of contraptions that seemed like they were for the animlas or whatever. Lisa decided not to think about it much. Something stunk really awful, like rotten horse or whatever. She sniffed around trying to look for that horrible stench, then slightly realizing that stench was coming from her! Bleh...Do I always smell that bad? Concerned, she got some rags and took a shower. It took awhile to get the water out and to get it nice and warm-ish. Andy woke up soon after and did the same. It was hard looking for some clean clothes that fit, but they found some at a point. “This…... Is….. Weird.” Andy observed the room, seeing the DeadPool poster and the Jack Skellington Poster on the walls. He shuddered at the sight of creepy drawings and the dark, screaming music playing. Lisa, on the other hand, was admiring the scenery. “Who the heck are YOU?!” A girl beamed at the duo. She was wearing dark pants, a dark shirt, a dark jacket, and… You get the point. “We should be asking you the same thing….” Lisa calmly said. The girl gleamed with anger and confusion. She held up a super sharp blade. “If you’re trying to steal, I swear I WILL stab you in the FACE and shove your eyeballs down your throat after I rip them out of your own HEAD!” Andy scooched back with fright, as for this girl must not be a christian nor friendly. Lisa stood up and raised her hand up to her chest. “I would never steal from a brave young woman.” Clearly the girl was not believing anything she said. Andy nervously got up. “W-we-we woke up here….uh….we d-d-don’t know h-how we got-t heeere…..” Andy stuttered. “So...you’re drunks or like...spirits or whatever? I don’t know HOW you would get in here… But it seems that is the truth,” The girl spoke firmly and angrily, “I sat here, watching you two appear out of no where and steal my clothes.” Lisa cocked her head a bit. The girl sighed. “Well… can you get your nasty clothes outta here? I don’t want my Mom telling me it stinks in here.” Not wanting to test the girl, Andy quickly got his clothes and threw them out the window. Lisa obediently picked up her clothes and tossed them out the window. “So, you’re allowed to wear pants? Why? I thought it was a crime for girls to wear pants..” The girl looked unamused toward Lisa’s question. “Erm...Yes….and...ah…you’re allowed to wear whatever,” She said slowly, “But don’t go out practically nude, then you’ll get in huge trouble.” “Can you get married to whoever too?” “Ah…..Yes….?” Lisa smiled at the news. Then, she suddenly walked away happily. The girl shot a smug face at Andy, clearly telling him to follow her or else. Andy left with a woosh.
Lisa hiked until she found a suitable place to sleep at. Andy was behind, sulking about the experience they had. “She must be a Bad Guy worshipper, I mean... did you see the taunting things she had?” Lisa shrugged. She was preoccupied by thinking about the future she could have. “I guess...but did you hear her? We could live the way we want here!” Andy rolled his eyes. “Yeah...but...we don’t know anything about this place, nor do we really belong here…” “We don’t belong at home either. It’s a choice of getting killed at home, or we try to get used to our new home, with no chance of getting killed.” Andy grumbled. “Valid point, I’ll take option two then.” He sat down and closed his eyes. Lisa hugged Andy and laid down. Andy yawned, “Blurh, I feel so exhausted for some odd reason….” Lisa chuckled, “Goodnight, Zany.” “Goodnight, Lisa.” Soon they lay fast asleep.
The sun was rising, clouds were coming, the sky was turning blue, and the warm air surrounded them. Lisa awoke to a sound of people walking towards her. There was also a slight ringing sound. “Sorry about that. We’ll keep note about that…” It was Andy... But who is the other? “Hmmm. Yeah..” Lisa stood up and brushed off her pants. She looked at the other person. It was the girl from some time ago. “You’re lucky I found you guys before anyone else.” She said coldly. She was wearing different dark clothes this time. There was a sound of grumbling near by. What Lisa saw was an unusual carriage. “What is that?” She asked. The girl looked back and silently swore under her breath. “I gotta go. Could you....just try to go somewhere? Not to be mean or anything...Look, I’ll be back later. Okay?” She took off in a hurry, which caused a novel to be dropped out since her bag was already open. Andy tried yelling for her, but she wasn’t able to be seen anymore. The carriage moved in a dash, with a trail of weird smells. “Let’s go follow it!” Lisa suggested. She snatched the novel on the ground and ran after it. Andy followed. It did go much faster and outran them both. Although it was hard to keep up, Lisa remained chasing after the carriage. Andy was, in fact, far behind Lisa. The mini carriages were everywhere, causing Andy to slow down. Lisa dealt with them too, but she moved swiftly away from the carriages before they could touch her. I shall return this to her! Maybe… just maybe...I could… Her thoughts wandered off of ideas about her new life here. The sounds of carriages honking and screeching wheels was drowned out by the sounds of silence. Everything turned into a meadow full of luscious plants and rare animals. A beautiful woman was standing in front a humongous cherry tree. Lisa slowed down her sprinting and came to a halt when she arrived at the tree. There was a moment stillness in the air. All you could hear is the soft breeze of wind. The woman turned around and steadily strolled to where Lisa was standing. Do you wish to stay here? Her voice was soft and kind. Lisa nodded. Even if you have to stay here alone? Even if you wish to go back home? Even under heavy circumstances? Lisa nodded once more. “I wished for this for a long time. My will has grown stronger, and I shall use my will for my purposes. I believe that THIS is my home. Where I belong. Not at Dyel Manor.” The woman vaguely bowed at Lisa. Then you shall fulfill your wish. I believe you belong here, and you are able. Everything faded away, like fireworks in the night sky. Lisa felt like she just slept on a bed of satin and silk. She,herself, felt at ease.
Luckily, Lisa found the girl at a manor with lots of other children going inside it. “Hey! Girl in black! Hey!” The girl quickly turned around and ran up to Lisa. “What are you doing here?! Trying to humiliate me?! How’d you even get here?!” The girl quietly shouted. “You dropped the novel. It felt like it was important, so I ran.” The girl’s eyes bulged. “How did you….? Nevermind. Thanks, uh...Lisa.” Lisa decided not to ask how she knew her name. The girl took the novel. Lisa smiled. “This is pretty important… Thanks a whole lot. I noticed that it was gone, and I almost cried because I dropped it. I would kill myself if I lost my sketchbook. Heh…” Andy was now walking toward the two. “Well… I guess you ARE real and NOT crooks or anything… so… uh… yeah. My name is Champagne. Just call me Skye though.” Lisa gave a thumbs up. "How are you not gasping for breath or anything?" Lisa shrugged. Skye turned to leave, but she peeked back at Lisa and faintly smiled, then she jogged to join the rest of the kids. She waved goodbye and disappeared into the Manor. Andy grabbed Lisa by the arm and jerked her back. “What...were...you...THINKING?! ...We....should’ve.......... left at......night, so now...we are going......back home.” He gasped. She slipped away from his grip and calmly cleared her throat. “I have decided to stay here. I want to live the wonders and opportunities of this world.” “WHAT?!? WHY?!” His heavy gasping and breathing had ceased. “We have more freedom here, more things we can do, together Zany!” “...Urgh, now that I think about it... the more I agree.” Andy sighed. “Alright. I’ll stay too. Might as well since we’re most likely in huge trouble back in Dyel Manor.” Lisa laughed. “So true.” Both, they went walking, to the adventures they will have in this new world.
