Final page of Benji to mermaid.Finally, four pages for a three panel transformation sequence. I got a little too happy when coloring this and decided to make everything pink. Hope you don't mind.

Fellow sister of the sea come with me so I can show you my world. At least she is gracious enough to welcome the new mermaid into the culture, and yes, she is pretty. A fair amount of mermen would be swimming her way no doubt. Just one thing, I saw the shiny thingy drop, but I didn’t see either one bring it back to their civilization. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!! The trap has been merely reset for the next poor unfortunate soul.

No, it's a story telling device. When you start and end the story in a similar manner (in this case the "Captain's Log" lines).
