More like too proud of herself. That's why I say she's like Sissi, only with a brain. Plus she makes Jeremy feel stupid which enrages not only me but also Aelita.

One reason she might be like that is that despite knowing about XANA and hearing of the risks of XANA she has yet to feel what it's like to be attacked by XANA.
When Sissi is in a XANA attack she goes quickly from proud brat to a rational person not just concerned with herself but others, I think all it will take to make Laura a better person is for her to truly realise the danger of XANA.

If you ask me (and Aelita) she needs something more like a good swift kick in the butt from XANA. And kick the smarmy smart ass to the curb.
