Description
This is my my little homage to my absolute favorite Street Fighter and one of my favorite characters of all time, Chun li.I have been meaning to draw a Chun for a while now, especially since my recent game art roll when I posted several other fighting game characters. However, I just hate to draw a half-baked Chun, so I let this one come to me instead of trying to force it out onto the page.
I always have visualized Chun li in the graceful, mature way that the original illustrations of Akiman for Street Fighter II and Third Strike depict her.
Just in time for Street Fighter IV and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom!

Unique coloring! What type of brush did you use on her qipao?

I only used solid colors. To get that particular texture I photographed a sheet of paper, increased the contrast, and put it through a hard light filter.
