Description
Pavlova is one of my original character, and one of my BJD.I imagine her in a pop-rock Versailles, inspired by the film of Sofia Coppola "Marie-Antoinette", but with much more colors and a liitle more...trash!
She's bored to death, and totally blase...Poor little rich girl! Her only entertainment is seducing a lot of men, and collecting more conquests than her half-brother, Mojito...Well, you recognized the story "Les Liaisons dangeureuses" ^^

Because I was inspired by the pastry named "Pavlova" for the colors : she as skin like meringue, hair like Chantilly cream, and all her clothing is so fruity!

j'ai tout de suite reconnu le style de robe que tu as fait pour ta BJD mais effectivement le côté "trash" ressort quand même moins sur ton illustration. On pourrait dire que c'est lorsqu'elle est plus jeune avant que son côté désenchanté ne ressorte lol ^^

I completely adore it!! <3 I also think that it is very important to reflect your personality in your drawings and by the colors you pick and everything you do that (even though the drawings are based on a very real style and/or movies)
Ok, that was a bt hard to explain the point is i love it, especially the green in her nails and feather, definitely not the usual color for that age but still looks greaaat!! <3<3

Did you know Anna Pavlova was a Russian ballerina of the late 19th and the early 20th century

Of course I know, who don't know that? ^^'
But the name of my character refers to the dessert with meringue, chantilly cream and fruits (which was called "pavlova" in honor of the ballerina), because of the fruity colors and the hairdress.
