One of my favorite hidden away places is a little further down this stream. It's called Buttermilk Falls. There's a not-too-legit path that you can follow down the canyon. It's like a water slide more than a waterfall.

It's so crazy seeing this place after 4 years. My dad and I used to always go down there when he was still alive. Dang, the snow makes it look so amazing.

I see you are/were suffering from the same problem this winter
I'm not sure how it would look, but if the software you use has a "clarify" feature, I'd give that a go on a lower setting. Nice HDR shot by the way

Thanks! And yeah, we've been getting hit pretty good with the snow. Heard this morning that it's the snowiest February on record for our area.
As for the clarify feature, I'm not sure what you mean. Is there a part of the image that you think should stand out more? And BTW, thanks for the

Same thing here for February, we are also the 3rd snowiest winter in recorded history, and we're only 6 inches or so off the all time record for our area.
I was just thinking for the trees in the background, just to make them come out a tiny bit more, that's all I was thinking when I mentioned that. My software for photo editing is Paint Shop Pro, most people on dA I have found don't use that though, so some of the features are renamed on Photoshop, etc.

Yeah. I was going to postpone the trip until Sunday but took a quick look at the forecast and figured I might not have another shot at it this year. It looks like I might be able to take another trip down there Saturday after we get all of this snow.
