Description
Of the three principal churches of Wismar one, St. Georgen, has got not tower (it was never finished), St. Marien has no aisle (it was blown up by the communists, only the very large tower remains) and only St. Nikolai is complete and in use. A fine brick-gothic church, built between 1381 and 1487 as the church for the town's seafarers.
