Yes it's REALLY time consuming! Making the original clay model, then taking a mold of it, then casting it into wax and reworking it, then making a mold over the wax, then pouring the bronze, then breaking it out of the mold, then grinding, welding, polishing, colouring and mounting it takes months!

Wow, that does seem like a lot of effort, but it really paid off in your case.
