i didnt know wat to put it under as iv manipulated photos but also painted in my own stuff so i wasnt sure

Well, if you took a photograph and messed with it to make it look like something other than what it originally did, then it's a photo-manipulation EVEN IF it's all digital work. (It's kinda a given that photomorphing is digital, ya know? )

I would suggest using this path to label this image:

Digital Art > Photmanipulation > Fantasy

That should be sufficient.

i didnt think the model would appriciate being drawn with her breasts out, and i hate giving merfolk clothing it would make no sense

Well, in a way it does.

When you take into consideration all of those souls who've been lost at sea, their corpses floating around, it's easy to imagine the mermaid, a natural born scavenger, ripping off shreds of cloth from the bodies and adorning themselves with them.

But yes, most of them do go without.
