So far, the textures and values of this portrait amaze me especially since this was all done in Ballpoint pen. The hatching is well established and very clean.
Personally, the best part of this portrait is the face with the highlights on Jack's eyes, the facial hair looks amazing, and the overall depth is unbelievable. Chris, you are seriously doing very well even with just a ballpoint pen.
I am looking forward to seeing this finished along with future artwork in this style. Keep up the amazing work man and keep on inspiring other artists out there.
