Hidden Ability: Shadow Tag
Signature Move: Cackle* Life Drain*
Description: It suddenly appears into our world near places where a person dies, but out of everybody's sight. If the spirit of the dead person comes across the Maleces, the pokemon will drag the spirit to the underworld. It is obliged to keep psychic pokemon on guard duty everywhere around the house while a person dies, or else, the spirit will be dragged away to the underworld. It also lurks in cemeteries, also looking for souls to take. If a trespasser sees a Maleces, the pokemon will glow violet and use it's long arms to wrap the victim and suck out it's soul. Maleces also makes a cacking laugh, which signifies a soul has been captured.

Maleces may be based on the grim reaper due to it's habit of taking souls of the dead to the underworld
