Sorry to disappoint you. I took this picture about a year ago. Usually I don't keep the RAWs that long.
If I remember correctly there wasn't that much color-work done.

So that red, is that close to the natural color? All the ones I shoot it's purple almost

No why would I? I understand photography as a process from taking the shot over post-processing to the final result. After I'm happy with the whole thing, the original raw photograph is of no value for me.
There were definitely reds in it. I pushed them a little bit. But not to be dominant for the whole picture. Just around the lightning area as you can see. As I remember correctly it was late afternoon - close to sunset. The storm was already pretty distant so it mixed with the sky-colours surrounding it.

(And I guess I like to keep the originals just for safety sake, you never know what you might need it for)

Yes! I was sitting there for about an hour. 30 Seconds. Click. Nothing. 30 Seconds. Click. Nothing... And so on. Until I got lucky.

I am surprised you didn't get such a wash out of light with settings like that. Must have been one dark sunset (here, I pretty much have to wait till the sun is down). That was more what that last was directed to (when I shoot I night I always use multi-shot, a photographer I ran into photographing lightning as well showed me)
