Description

As I mentioned in a previous Deviation (here ), it’s been a few months since I have had time to post anything. Since my last post (back in November of last year), Midjourney has released both V6 Alpha and V6 Niji and, while I frequently play around with these developments, I haven’t had the time to showcase anything from my exploration until now.

In this Deviation I have decided to (once again) focus on heavy brushwork or pallet knife textures in oils that are combined with dark colors and eerie themes that blend the classics styles with the abstract (must be the winter melancholy muse at play again). For this Deviation I decided to showcase a prompt that focused on these tones along with the subjects of women with large swords as I wanted something rather pretty with darker undertones that paid homage to Munch.

After a few iterations in Midjourney I ultimately ended up with something that I liked and, after some minor editing in Photoshop, I present these results here for fun... Enjoy!
