Description
I have a strong affinity for artwork that blends pre-Raphaelite style with epic elements, particularly when it comes to depictions of divine creatures.
Recently I have been playing around with various workflows that involve Midjourney prompt-crafting where a weighted Rebelle or Photoshop sketch is used in addition to normal prompting. Next, a selection is made after some number of iterations per normal and the selection is imported into stable diffusionβs img2img tool such that regional corrections can be made using a desired checkpoint model.
The Img2img editor, while somewhat clunky and having more settings than an airliner cockpit, reminds me a lot of the Photoshop spot healing brush that is prompt-craft capable. Basically, you select a region to change, configure settings on how diffusion/merge will be performed, and iterate until you are happy with the desired results. Likewise, you can export the iterated image and re-import it back into Img2img to make any additional regional corrections.
Once all the regional work is done smaller scale touch-up work or further brush refinement work can be done using Photoshop or equivalent software.
This is one of my first attempts at applying this methodology (as time progresses I likely will explore others approaches) and I figured I would share the results.
Enjoy!
