Again, still a little unsure about this macro/plant photography. More pleased with this one though, the spider adds a nice little touch, working it's way down into the dark depths of this flower.Comments and criticism welcome.

i actually like that the spider isn't so focused and that you really have to look at it getting a feel for the whole flower

I really love this. Really. I think it is fantastic - if only the spider had been more sharply focused! But I think it also works as it is - there is a great feeling of descent. Apologies for a lack of abbreviations, but the apostrophe key on my keyboard is crashing firefox. ¬_¬

Mine's doing that too! I ended up not bothering with a reply in the cave because it kept crashing firefox or bringing up the search window! Odd!
Anyway, thanks mate, that's the first really positive thing I've had about this shot! And the focus, well, I blame my camera tbh - I had a few attempts at focusing more on it but then it made the flower horribly blurry. DSLR end of the year though, ftw.
