Slowly, quietly, stealthily. These are the movements of a predator. It's eyes focus directly on the target. It's senses increase in perception and follow the prey wherever it goes. This predator is a cat, and it's learnt from its mistakes of leaping to soon, and is surveying the situation before launching for the kill.
It pauses, and keeps a close eye on it, planning its next move and thinking what the prey may do next. The shot is taken, and beyond this point, the cat slinks down to the floor and prepares to pounce. But does it catch its prey?

No, it doesn't. As I moved the camera away from my face after taking the shot, I scuffed my hand on the wall next to me, scaring away the prey. The prey, was in fact some sort of insect, I don't know what it was though.

Anyway, quite pleased with this shot, the colours came out nice and bold and the shadows around the cats eyes really give him that evil look.
