Description So, this was a little surprising to be honest. Spent about half an hour in the garden, trying to get a decent close up shot of a bee or a fly, or even a wasp. Unfortunately, this is where my camera becomes crap. As much as I love my current camera, it's manual focus setting, macro setting and even auto focus are absolutely poo on close up shots and even worse if I use zoom. So there will be a distinct lack of macro shots after this batch until I get my DSLR nearer the end of the year. This was one of the best ones, but only because I had it zoomed out fully so this is the result of some intense cropping, which left the image rather small and blurry. So if it looks a bit grainy, it's because I had to sharpen it a tad in Photoshop.

For now though, here's a bee working his way up the flower bed collecting pollen. He actually worked his way up too, buzzing from each flower left to right, working upwards.

Thanks, yeh I had to crop it and that lowered the resolution and quality.
