Absolutely stunning - love the colours used here, the lens flares, and the delicate light of the stars. I would seriously buy this as a print if I had the cash (*grrrr* at self..)

Your work is really good!! Of course people would like to buy it. I would put this on my wishlist if it was available as a print (and if, ya know, I acquired a bit of extra cash...)

Great spacescape

Although the planets are a little low res.

I still love the lighting though

Hehe nice piece!
I like how special your terraspace is ^.^
You always find good pics for the base!
Alright, since you want some criticism/tips/opinion, all that, here goes

I'll start with the not-so good stuff and then the goooood stuff! lol

Alright, the nebulae's good in full view, but it needs some texture. Plus it looks a bit weird in the thumbnail even though in full view it's cool.
The planets could use a slightly longer glow even though it's good, it's not too strong.
Don't forget that if you want to make them moons, they don't have an atmosphere so they don't have a glow.
The comets are cool, but they're too thick.
Try to make them much much more thinner, like a tenth of their thickness.
Also, the space gas ends a bit too fast from between space to the downtown so it feels like you just erased a part of the pic and put another on top, so use a big brush with a low opacity to make it blend better.

Now on the gooood side, I like how you used two sizes of stars for the starfield.
And I really really like the textures on the planet
Haha I talked a lot ^.^
But I really like it and the downtown adds a nice mood!
I've been to downtown Seattle once and lived in the city right next to it for two months.
It's pretty cool, but the surroundings of seattle are rather... empty? Full of pine forests lol

Thanks for the critique

Well this was my first attempt at making a nebula and a comet so no wonder why it's bad

Also for the space gas, the colors wouldn't work with the Seattle stock as I couldn't render it and it looked bad when the gas was too close to the city as it looked choppy. So I used a layer mask to make it black when it was closer to Seattle.

Once again, thanks for the tips and comments

You're welcome for the critique!
Good luck with your nebulaes.
Maybe use some clouds with some effects like I do?
There's some tutorials on dA on how to do them if you're interested.
About the space gas, I just meant that you had to make it fade slowly to downtown, so use a huuuuuuuuuuuge brush (like 1500px) with a low opacity to lightly, gradually erase the bottom of the gas so it blends better.
Have fun!
