Description **You will need a rooted device and a root file managment system and a method to tranfer the .zip to your device.

Inside the .zip (that's inside the .zip) there are two parts, one that is the intro to the animation (not seen in the .gif)
and the other is the part that repeats until your device is loaded. You do not extract the second .zip. This is for your information.

To install, place the boot animation .zip inside /system/media on your android device and replace
the existing .zip pckage.

Restart.

Mod at you r own risk.
The images are directly extracted out of my own Nesus S phone. There is no guarantee it will work any other device, there's no reason to think it wouldn't either. Depending on screen size you may need to crop/expand the graphics inside the second .zip to optimize the animation for your device.

++Original size of graphic is 512x256 pixels.++

If you used this on your phone let me know if it works, and if your bootanimation .zip is located somewhere else on your device as I suspect it might change.

It will void warranty. As long as you don't brick your phone you can always re flash the stock ROM and recovery console and then OEM lock it again. A lot of phone techs won't notice even if you don't change back the recovery system or if you were using a custom kernel. But yes, warranty is voided (if they notice).

SO what did it do before? Just show "Google" then your lockscreen?

Sweet, I might need to look into phone modding then. I'm putting this on.

I haven't even heard of anyone changing their boot animation on their phone but I know cyanogenmod does have its own if you ever use that ROM. The xda-developers website has a lot of useful information, mods and help. So really be careful before changing it. All it was was a simple .zip on my phone so I'd imagine it can be replaced with whatever you want.

Okay, so the rundown is: I had no boot animation for some reason on my phone, so I decided to look at tutorials for modding phones. it's kinda odd, but yeah.
