The metal on the outside still looks a bit weird. Like it's a very thin sheet. You know, something akin to aluminium foil. Maybe it's the texture, but it looks off somehow.
For the rest: coming along quite nicely. Are you going to make shots with laser as well?

I think you're right. It's meant to be a busted-up aluminium texture, but it's a little bit severe. I've redone it with scratches and surface blemishes in the displacement layer and it looks a lot better. When I've added similar effects to the rest I'll upload a new image. Blade included! :-D
