A Summer painting course sounds like a good idea. Is that in Swansea or back home? Last I saw I didn't see any around Bristol that I fancied, but I'd like to do either a life drawing or painting class to keep my hand in, especially as we don't have life drawing next year...

it was in Gloucester, others were in oxford (google joe daisy) but the oxford one was a lot more expensive. Come do one with me in Gloucester would be us and oldies lol . I have to pick one yet and book.

Can't decide whether to do drawing with an illustrator tutor, or painting with oils, watercolour or acrylics. all overlap you see, its only on for the week; its ayearly summer school

google gloucesterartsandcrafts.co.uk

Don't you, not sure if we do or not, but id have to just keep my eye in somehow.

Ah, Gloucester is a bit out of the way I think. I liked the sound of the loosening up with watercolours, but oil painting would be great experience all round as it will no doubt include tutorials on how to mix, etc.
