Description This took me 3 days to make, I traced the treasures mentioned in my journal entry from the article in there.

The Crown, Talisman and Chalice were easier to do than the other 2, only cause the ref pic had them even enough to copy and paste.

These ones I'll be coloring by hand, not digital cause I feel like it.

whoa... that's a harsh blow to the treasure hunters...
might need to make ones out of metal and just colour it gold

do the crown, stone, and sword still exist or are they gone for good

From what I read, the sword, crown, and stone are hidden. The winner of the talisman melted it down for scrap purposes but sold the small sword for $15,000 (I think) and the chalice is locked up in Rideout's bank vault.

Interesting You've been doing your homework I knew about the talisman and the chalice, the winner of the chalice wanted it to be handed down his family, and I guessed that the others were hidden but I thought they were in old Jackie's house

Actually, I was watching AVGN's vid and I looked it up on Wikipedia. Kinda sucks that the talisman is gone forever.

So what do you think

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-02-27 08:42:05 +0000 UTC]

hmm, if they are still around, then maybe ask them if they are in his possession

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-01 22:15:42 +0000 UTC]

Do you know them or anyone who would

Do you know anyone who is looking besides you and me

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-03-14 19:31:35 +0000 UTC]

no I don't, sorry

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-16 06:38:01 +0000 UTC]

Well I don't think we're the only ones looking and where the remaining treasures are can't stay a mystery forever. The answer is out there we just got to find it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-03-17 04:01:46 +0000 UTC]

so true

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-17 04:13:19 +0000 UTC]

So all we have to do is gather a group of people who are just as interested as we are

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-03-17 04:19:15 +0000 UTC]

we would, yes

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-18 03:50:54 +0000 UTC]

Of topic which of the treasures do you want

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-03-18 09:29:43 +0000 UTC]

hmm... I'd go for the sword... but to get it I need a permit, so maybe the crown as option 2

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-20 04:26:18 +0000 UTC]

Why would you need a permit for a sword

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-03-20 07:26:21 +0000 UTC]

I live in Australia, you need a licence to even own a weapon, so Swords and Guns are hard to get a hold of here

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-20 18:05:24 +0000 UTC]

Well that explains that but I'm from America and not only do some people have swords here but out of you and me I'm the closest to where it was suspected to be

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-03-20 19:04:53 +0000 UTC]

that's correct, besides I only heard of these treasures from the AVGN

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-21 03:37:14 +0000 UTC]

That's where I heard of them but I did a little more homework and found out that old Jackie boy lived in California and the sword was found in his own home

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-03-21 07:25:03 +0000 UTC]

indeed it was

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-21 19:10:37 +0000 UTC]

Well on the flip side to that is that there's no hard evidence to support that clam

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-03-21 20:30:17 +0000 UTC]

I see

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-22 04:19:49 +0000 UTC]

So what do you think we should do about that

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to JeremyMcleo2 [2013-03-22 08:59:24 +0000 UTC]

dunno

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

JeremyMcleo2 In reply to Chrisstiger [2013-03-22 18:40:55 +0000 UTC]

Well I'm willing to wait until there's evidence. A mystery can't be unsolved forever

the legendary atari treasures. its sad that only 2 were won. but, its a mystery what happened to the other 3.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to kelvin12 [2010-03-12 23:28:47 +0000 UTC]

indeed it is, if they are not willing to give them up to gamers, at least they could have them displayed somewhere secure so we can see the true value of these treasures worth in today's world... which reminds me, I have to check and see how much more they are worth if one was to sell them

Darkdealer65 In reply to Chrisstiger [2012-12-02 21:21:25 +0000 UTC]

what's worthy of note is this:

the man who won the Talisman eventually melted it down (the little sword on it is all that remains)

the guy who won the chalice still has it locked away

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Chrisstiger In reply to Darkdealer65 [2012-12-03 07:39:42 +0000 UTC]

that is true
