I wanted to paint something post-apocalyptic after watching a pollution documentary.
I've always been interested with anything that has to deal with apocalypse. It puts me in awe and at the same time fear. I'm not looking forward to it but the extent of human's foolishness is making it possible.
This girl is wearing a customized mask, goggles, cyber punk hair and clothes and baybayin tattoos. The amount of detailing got me tired but it was fun to paint. It took me 4 days to finish this portrait. I manually made the tattoos while looking at references, the only one I did not do is the baybayin ones which is a custom font type (1). Done in grayscale first.
Baybayin tattoos meanings (from up to down):
Kalikasan - Environment
Puno - Tree
Dagat - Ocean
Ulap - Sky

I wanted to color my hair before, as in dark lang na violet pero ayaw pa rin nila mama.
Buti nga sa short hair pumayag sila. Same hairstyle ata tayo irl XD

I think that you could have done something more with the eyes or skin just to sorta get the feel of pollution effect on humanity

Ah yes, I forgot to add personality haha. For the eyes, I made it a little bit glowy, I'll fix the skin.
