this is my piece for my final project in my color class. The purpose was to create a feeling of depth with color and to repeat an element at least four times in the composition.

This project was originally supposed to be painted in acrylics, but then the instructor opened up the media options to anything we want. so, when I asked her if I could do a digital painting she just about freaked on me. she really doesn't consider computer art to be art, I was able to convince her only after I promised not to use any clip art or collage type work hehe. anyway this is my attempt to hopefully change her feelings about digital art, and I'd like to get a passing grade while I'm at it ^_^

The original image size was 18in wide and 24in lengthwise at about 300 dpi. so this thing was huge. but it had to be to print out. Obviously I've shrunken it down to be DA friendly

I had several sleepless nights over this one, but I'm proud of it
