Actually my first attempt for a One Piece fanart at all. It had to be a ZoSan one, OF COURSE! ^_^I started with a quick sketch then on with Photoshop for the coloring part (took me a while really). And I'm not even sure the coloring doesn't look really shitty in the end since my screen is bugging like hell: I'm not sure about brightness/colors anymore at all.
This fanart changed drastically with what was supposed to be the final touch (it's always the same for me) and the theme became All Blue while I had not planned it at all at the beginning. Oh well...
Well, I surprised myself doing such a thing when I'm ill with severe otitis right now. I'm just crazy! o__O;

Now I don't understand why I didn't check the rest of your art. I'm really going to have to start listening to myself more often, cus this is REALLY good. Who knew Zoro and Sanji could look so tender in the same image. The colors and the expresions are godly, I'm so jealous of you're ability

You know, I started out not quite a fan of this pairing. But over time, I was drawn in and converted. it's a really entertaining pairing. It comes with humor, the right amount of angst if applied right, and the rare fluff.
I can tell you spent a lot of time on this, it really does show. I'm glad my comment cheered you up!

You mean that, before, you prefered other OP pairings or none in particular? In my case, at the very beginning, I started reading OP without my "Yaoi filter" on, so I wasn't especially imagining them as a pairing. The fact is that they are both my favorites characters so I naturally ended with sticking the two of them together. ^^ Couldn't help my yaoi side to awake, finally. *LOL*I agree with you with the fact it's an entertaining pairing (I love their angst stories too!) even if, on the other hand, it could appear as the most unlikely one as well. I noticed I have tendencies to stick strong clashing personalities together. I like this unsteady dynamic. The fact nothing is never gained. It's a pretty interesting aspect of their pairing, imho.

I agree with you on the paradox of loving angst and not being able to stop crying like a baby when reading some...but still reading more. I think I suffer the same kind of syndrome...^^ It's feels as if angst stories makes one feel stronger and more vivid empathy for the characters. So it's makes you a lot of time sadder when they're in pain because then you're in pain too. But if the story is good and well-written, then it's just so pleasurable thing to read angst~. Guess we're both little masochists from this point of view! 
AceSanji is a pairing I like quite a lot, too. Because I absolutly adore Ace's personality. He's just too great for his own good (and I love his devil fruit power)! XD Sadly enough, there are too few AceSanji's fanfictions online. I wish I could find more!! T__T

I started off a ZoroLuffy fan as my first pairing. But I grew to like SanjiZoro along with my ever favorite AceSanji. I've been pairing up slash for about five years now. As my brotherI'm an agst whore says, 'You slash without mercy' and I don't.
I love angst, I'm an agst whore. It's the first genre I look for and I excell in writting it. It's odd since I cry really easily, so whenever I read it, i'll usually end up glued to my tissue box. But I always read more.
As they say, two clashing personalities makes the best of pairings. Opposites attract sort of thing. So I have to agree with you on the dynamics of ZoSan.
I like talking, it's nice to meet new people and make them happy. I'm shy in real life, so I like to meat as many people on line as I can. it's nice that you're responding as much as you do

I really enjoyed this! The colors are fantastic (except maybe where they washed out a bit between their faces and the white background, but it's not horribly bad). I also appriciated Zoro's hand holding Sanji's tie in the foreground... made it more of a relaxed, peaceful scene.
This may sound odd, but I really love Zoro's hand. I can't seem to draw hands for beans, but you seem to do it quite well. *gives a cybercookie*
I can't wait to see if you indulge in more of the ZoSan fanart madness!

Wow. For your first One Piece fanart, I'd have to say you did pretty good! I like the pose, and how you have Zoro holding Sanji's tie in the foreground. The colors are nicely maintained, though the brightness kinda washes it out a little on their faces (where the skin color meets the white background).
This may sound odd, but I really like Zoro's hand... I can't draw hands for beans, so nice hands always make me happy. His expression is also yummy.

I'm glad you like Zoro's hand though honestly, I'm actually not that clever with hands drawing. T__T I have troubles with that all the time. I used to really like drawing hands in the past but after a long loooong pause in drawing (SOME years), I now have lot of pain to manage something almost decent and it always feels so STIFF in the end...Really clumsy. *sigh*
I'm trying to draw more so as to improve...I have so much to improve on every levels.

I can imagine the kind of nut patients we would be...scaring people away when trying to "convert" staff to ZoSan goodness (brain-washing method is always good) or showing Doujinshi to fellow crazy patients, our eyes full of shinning stars! That's almost dream-like idea...almost!
