Description this is the beautiful whom i had promised i'd draw soon. go see her NOW! this does NOT do her justice. thanks, tash for your great photos! please bare with me! i have grander things planned for her. however, been away from this for far too long and this is my quick attempt at not 'losing it'.... but alas, it's crap, and it seems i've lost it... ARGH. slowly slowly slowly.. try to get it back.

just a quick watercolour thingo.

i realise these latest sketches have no concepts per se. i'm merely working on form at the moment. i have concepts ready to go, plans, worked out some good things... but no bloody time cant wait for uni to be over. but on the same token, it's starting to get annoyingly hot here i friggin hate summer...

but yes i miss art. and i promise to try harder. that is all.

you have a thing for the watercolours that you might not be aware of yet... chris these are good... the most distracting part of this one is panties, not that she has them, but that the way you colored them is so inconsistant with the rest of the piece and that one bit of shading on her left butt cheek and very upper thigh... that should be soft and smooth. and as long as i am being picky the shadow on that left arm that is supporting her is pretty harsh... if i was you... and this is only if "i" was you... but i aint so there isn't much i can do about it, but if i was i would employ those lines for the contours only and use the watercolors for all the shading... you can do it because what i am seeing here is some amazing skills with those watercolours.

yeh you're right. and i have tried that in the past... but im just trying different things, you know?

like was just reading an art magazine and it's given me all these ideas... and then i heard about waterproof ink pens... and hmmm... u know how it is.. i just wanted to try

but yeh, you're right. but sometimes, i really don't care about what's wrong or right, and feel like i need to break that mould of realism even in a slight way.

yeah i know what it is like to just want to blow off what is right and wrong... that is what i love about, you can do that and get away with it... in real life that is not always the case...

...been going crazy is what i've been doing....

i realized this week that i really just need to do some art for arts sake and not for any deadlines or clients...something just for me....((and possibly get to doing what i want to do for your contest ))

...or maybe that is what staying up 26 hours when you are heavily medicated with cold meds working on a project that is due on the 28th hour does to me....and then finding out that all your work was in vain because someone was at the other end decided that all the hard work wasn't worth doing....(school newspaper...normally 8 pages...made it 16 pages...and then after we turn it in to the printers...said it could only be 12 pages max...so therefore took more time and made it less excellent...grrr)

but anyway...hehe, other than that, everything has been good with me...

just slight frustration with some people...but that is alright....

busy as a bee hey? same here... im so run down with work, and uni and rinse and repeat.. it's gettin SO annoying...

magazine hey? i was magazine editor in year 12 so i can understand how frustrating it can get lol... but in the end it's worth it isn't it?? even if it's not as you totally envisaged it... having it there in your hot little hands and knowin you somehow attribute to its creation is a good feeling.

take care of yourself.. i been sick lately too... not good... mmmmmmmmmmwah
