Description
I love this little boy.
Can you see the love in his handsome green eyes?
When I think of real love, I think about my babies, Gideon, Peace, Star, and even these two stray boys, Gab and Ti. Forsaken by everything else, left to live in the dangers of the night, but knowing he can always come to me, that his 'new mama' will alway watch his back.
That's why I'm submitting this piece to 's contest , because I can see his love.

x3 We have a cat here who is always looking to be held. He'll just hop up and get in our faces until we give up and just let him lay on us.

D'awww, that's cute.
This little fellow though is a stray, he doesn't stay in this room with us, but he stalks us (Gideon and I) outside, as does his brother. XD

Strays are often some of the sweetest animals I've encountered because they're so grateful to the people who decide "You know what? I'm going to help out that animal right there."

3 out of 4 of my cats were strays, and our first dog was a stray. The last cat we took in must've picked up on the scent of our other animals because he ended up camping in front of our house for over a week before we realized that he must've gotten lost or was abandoned.

Yeah all my cats have been strays too, the first cat I had as a kid (I was 3 or 4) she was a gutter cat and was so sweet to me and my dad (she didn't like anyone else) Star's great great grandmother and father were stray, Faith (the great great grandmother) I saved from my dog and another dog, her front paw was hurt, the fur and skin was gone so my dad and I took her in and patched her up and she became ours (she was the best mother cat ever) shortly after that Angel (the gre gre grandfather) was walking down the neighborhood and walked over to me and it was love at first sight. (him and Faith became mates and had tones of litters) Hope (Star's grand father) was one of their kits and after we moved he was one of few cats we were able to take with us, about a year later we found Sweeter (a stray, that only liked me) she's Peace's mother, and then Star's mother was my bff's cat that wasn't allowed inside, she came inside my house once and she became ours due to my bffs step'dad ' because you feed her she's yours.'
So Star and Peace though they aren't stays they've always been in my family, they are kin to strays.

Strays are awesome. Trust was a feral cat and I was even able to tame him with love. lol.

Cats are awesome.

Woooow. That's a really awesome history. 3 generations of cats that came from strays. Cats are incredibly awesome because they can be so affectionate.

Oh my goodness! He looks A LOT like my Ozzy... except Ozzy is a whole lot fatter. And has slightly darker markings. (Speaking of him, he just came barging into my room as if he owned the place, haha.)

Which one is this? He's a handsome one.

Lol, he has reminded of pictures of Ozzy I've seen, but Oz is a Bengal right? (for all I know they could have bengal in them too, who knows. )

This is Gabriel, the one that was the first to fall for me. lol. The other day he caught a mouse and I got to watch it, he was across the street and I called him over and he bounded over to show me it (poor little mouse was so cute and scared) it tried to fight back at one point but Gab just grabbed it by the back and held it. First time ever he growled and snarled at me. lol. Gideon wanted the mouse too.

Yeah, Oz is a Bengal. He may not be the super-fancy F1 Bengal that is featured in Cat Fancy, but he DOES have Bengal in him, even if he is of a later generation of them.

Aww, that's so cute! <3
Lol, that reminds me of Ozzy and his toy mice. Every time we would give him a brand new mouse, he would "attack" the toy mouse. When it was in his mouth, he would always growl at us. It was soo funny how he always acted like he "killed" it.

Lol, now a-days with both dogs and cats it's hard to tell what is full bred and what isn't, sometimes the half breeds are smarter and more talented. lol.

Aww, he sounds like he'd get along with Gab and Tig, besides the fact Oz 'acts' like he killed it. Lol.
I felt so much pity for that mouse, I didn't want him to kill it, but I wouldn't take it from it due to him catching it, I was proud.

Ahh, that IS the truth with breeds. xD

I bet Oz would get along great with them. He is super-playful. I often think that he wishes he had another cat that would ACTUALLY be willing to play with him. He's afraid of Lily and Garfield doesn't do much except sleep. So he just has my parents and I to wrestle with, haha.

Aw, yeah. I would have felt sorry for the mouse, too. Part of a cat's life, though, I suppose.

He is a very handsome kitty. And you're right, I can see the love in his eyes. (His eyes are very pretty too!)

You know, when you said in the description that he can always run to you and you will watch his back, it reminded me of God, when we can run to Him..

Christianonfire7 In reply to Delpha [2011-06-09 03:15:21 +0000 UTC]

Thanks.

Aha, that's a great way to see it, because it's exactly the same, but unlike Him I'm limited, I can only do so much to keep any of my babies safe, but God, nothing limits Him but us. And even when we don't think we can, we can ALWAYS run to Him. And He will always be there for us, limitless with power beyond out own minds.

He is.
Though he really isn't my cat by ownership, he's a stray that I've been blessed to share love with since he was a baby. (too mounts of patience to get him and the others to trust me)

Lol, sounds like me.
First time I touched this little guy he fell in love with it, and has been addicted to love since. It took his brother and sisters a little longer, but now the boys follow me and my dog when we go outside.

Aw, I was tending to 8 strays down my street, 5 of which were splendidly ferral kittens! ^-^ They got used to me because I was the bringer of food. So, they had to whether they wanted to or not. XD
