Description:

This was the prophecy spoken over the serpent in the garden of Eden, a foreshadow of Christ. The serpent (Satan), would from that point forward (Gen 3:15) contend against all the children of Adam yet to be born, until One, of the line of (King) David, would deal the serpent and his doomed kingdom of darkness a fatal death blow, by (of all things) His death on a cross, and His resurrection from the dead.
