Socialism naturally attracted minorities of all kind. They and women were often far better off under socialism than under the Russian monarchy.
But of course, just because socialism is better than a monarchy still doesn't mean it's a good system overall.
I'm faving this not because I like communism, but because it's pretty awesome looking.

funny story is is that Jews did indeed have a very interesting background w/ socialism. indeed, Kibbutzim, just look it up were indeed socialist in ideology as were many early aspiring zionists. Indeed my own great grand father was indeed a bolshevik. and yes I am Jewish and yes it is a long story

I've been studying the ancient Hebrew civilization, and I have come to the same conclusion; the way in which Hebrews were supposed to treat the less fortunate is consistant with many modern socialist practices and beliefs.

Jewish Socialism is only natural. Karl Marx, after all, was a Jew. Lenin, while not Jewish, instituted one of the harshest crackdowns on anti-semitism in Russian history.
