I have a tablet, but for this one- since i did it in bed at like midnight lol- i just used the cursor.

Waccom makes a tablet with a built in lcd screen [link] notice the price is like INSANE.. i think that is the only tablet i could use.. have tried a bunch but the disconnect of not looking directly at the (in my case) pencil touching the paper makes my things look like a 5th grader using MS Paint.

lol yeah my tablet is a waccom.
They are a pretty pricey though...
But yeah the chicken scratch thing will get better with practice lol. It took me a while to get the hang of using one- i think everyone takes a while to get the hang lol

I will probably break down and just finally use the wacom i have.. after i finally realize that graphite NEVER scans well.
