More from my life drawing class...conte on newsprint.This one I worked a bit harder on (after scanning) to drop out the background paper tone and texture.

This is my favorite piece out of your life drawing set so far. The gestural curves, the worked and refined lines...the overall composition is a great observation of the figure.

Thank you so much! I was trying something different with that pose; I would like to continue to explore that technique of quick, curvy lines...another class tomorrow night so maybe I'll do that.

Nice life drawings Chrissie! I really enjoyed using conte' crayon years ago in school, and earlier.
Have you done any long poses in that class yet?
Like 2 or 3 hours in length.

Thanks, Bill. Yeah, these conte crayons I'm using are from YEARS ago in art school; it was really fun to open that box again and get my fingers dirty. 
Nope, no long poses so far...as you may already have read elsewhere...
