Description
This was a pretty fun picture to work on, it wasn't nearly as tedious as my others. I think it turned out maybe too warm though. The original lining was done on a really small piece of yellow scrap paper, so I used the paper color as the color scheme. I'm hoping it gives off a nice sketchy look to it.Pencil and paper & Painter IX

What brush in Painter do you use, may I ask.
I've been trying it for some weeks now and I just can't get the brushes right. I tried a custom digital watercolor brush which has been giving the best results, but I still have troubles with it. I specially don't see how you blend. Pleaseeee I need some help!

it really does have a sketchy feel to it. i love the movement in this piece down to her rosy nose. great warm colors and i like the fade out feel (in color temperature) as you move away from her face and towards her hair. <3

This is so beautiful. I don't think it is at all too bright; I rather like it. I really appreciate all of the different hues used to shade and highlight. You mixed them very well. The coloring is epecially good in the hair. And I love the amount of movement too. Very prettiful
