- Teacher who teach teenagers to fight supernatural things in the world
- Have a common addiction (alcohol in Kishibe’s case and smoking in Stein’s case).
- Are described as the strongest of something associated with demons (Devil Hunters and Meisters) by someone (Kishibe himself and Death).
- Funny contrast: Kishibe was in love with a light haired girl with an eye patch (Quanxi) but kept getting rejected meanwhile Stein got with a light haired girl with and eye patch (Marie Mjonir).
- Both form a team against a manipulative lady who they worked with that were secretly the monsters (one of the monsters in stein’s case) that their organization hunts (Kishibe being the leader of the anti Makima squad, who knew that Makima was the control Devil, and Stein gathering Sid and Mira Naigus to find out Medusa is actually a witch)
- Both in the beginning were introduced in a graveyard (or NEAR a graveyard in Stein’s case) where they would whoop the protagonist’s (Maka and Denji) ass and a confident loudmouth who was with the protagonist (Black Star and Power) for a training session.
**potential in progress so far:** well, it could definitely be a blade fight with Kishibe's knives and Stein's death scythe. And seeing as how Kishibe is a pretty tough guy and has no problem breaking Power's blood spikes, I think he could definitely take on Stein in a melee with Stein and he's allowed to use that lightning soul energy (I forgot what's it called) for animation. . I'll have to build a bit more on the potential side though, which should be fun to do. oh another thing that could be added is that Kishibe has his gun to keep Stein at bay where Stein can either dodge bullets or block bullets with his death sythe
