Here in San Diego County in California, we're currently experiencing the worst fires we've ever had. 500,000 people evacuated, and over 1300 homes destroyed, and it's not over yet.

This image is what came out, as I've spent days at home (since my work office is closed) watching the fires burn home after home. It's depressing. It gets you to the point where you just can't sit here and just watch it anymore.

So I got up and did what I could, and I'd like to ask those of you who can, if you would also. If you have the means, the Red Cross of San Diego [link] could use donations to help those who have lost their homes or even just been evacuated.

If you don't have the means, then I'm sure your positive thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Oh...in case you're wondering, it seems as if my home is going to get through this...so long as the winds stay the way they are. Small blessing amidst a lot of tragedy.
