Maaan... it's been ages since I last played MtG... and the artwork keeps getting better! ha!
Still, I'll miss the good old Urza days, for which, come to think about it, your style would have been perfectly suited...
This here portrait has such a nice balance between realism, some trace of the hand of the artist, and an interesting lighting technique... it works marvels for a dark fantasy game as this is
