Description The Stallion

Swirling mist hides the street -
Rain falling from the sky.
The moon, hidden by the clouds;
A gentle breeze passes by.

Crash! Bang! Whinny! Neigh!
A tree falls to the ground.
He stomps and yells at the fog,
Frightened of the sound.

Footsteps on the granite road,
Ringing loud and clear.
A voice cries out for help and aid
But no one's there to hear.

Crash! Bang! Whinny! Neigh!
A window shatters near.
Cut and bleeding; loosing blood,
He roars out full of fear.

His tail swings round like a whip,
His eyes are full of fright.
He tries to stamp and bite the mist
But there's nothing there to fight.

Crash! Bang! Whinny! Neigh!
Lightning strikes the floor.
Hooves whirl, running away,
Faster than before.

He canters through a concrete maze,
Seeking a way out.
He wanders in a hidden world,
Blind and full of doubt.

Crash! Bang! Whinny! Neigh!
Thunder can be heard.
The sky turns black and dusty grey,
His vision is all blurred.

He gives up in utter despair,
Unable to find his way.
Lost in a strange and horrible land,
He wails in dismay.

Crash! Bang! Whinny! Neigh!
He crumples up in dread.
He shivers in the midnight wind,
To him the mist is death.
