Currently trying to learn how to illustrate full works, specifically an environment of some sort, for a little story project I have. So far, I have these main characters drawn in their younger years and I'm looking forward to drawing a bit more of their design to display on Deviantart. (:

I'm no expert when it comes to literacy or writing in general, but here's a small summary of a specific part of the prologue related to their design:

"Condie (male) and Christie (female) are inseparable. Before meeting, Condie was taken care of by a professor named William. Christie's location was unknown to her townsfolk- or to anyone in general. Professor William went out for a meeting one evening to discuss evolutionary forms of mystical animals, and left Condie to snack on whatever was in the fridge for that night. Instead of drawing and throwing paper planes, he decides to go out for a walk in a forest behind their lab. It was no problem for him in the dark. Fireflies followed wherever he went, and would shoot up into the sky if anything were to happen. Stopping upon the snapping of a tree branch, the fireflies faded as Condie looked around. They began to light up a girl heaving in distress. He tries to calm her, asking what happened, where she was running from- and eventually gotten to know her.

If he hadn't gone out that particular night, who knows where they are now."
