Adapted from the children's novel Bootleg by the British author Alex Shearer, story centers on two 13-year-old boys who live in a country that has banned chocolate and mandated fruits and vegetables for daily consumption. The boys discover a stash of cocoa and sugar and decide to run a bootleg chocolate factory, in complete defiance of the government run by the oppressive Good for You Party. Their misadventures eventually sparks a revolution in the country.

I started watching this show.. i happend to stumble on the manga and laughed my ass of litterly ^^
i just liked it alot.
The anime itself is only 5 min each episode but its really hillarious. if you havent seen it yet you should try and check it out.
Anyway this picture is the end pic of episode 4.
i liked it so much i started drawing it.
i have no link of it cause i drew it right out of the anime. ((meaning my PC))

I loved this part and this show!
Have you read the actual book this anime/manga was based off of? It's called Bootleg by Alex Shearer. It's amazing. (And not as dramatic. The Good for You Party carry tazers, not guns.)
If you haven't, I highly recommend it. I hear there's a BBC show based on the original book, too.
Anyway, amazing job on this!

no i didnt know there even was a complete book out of this beside the ity tiny anime and manga books.
i wrote it down and i will see if i can find it somewhere.
i found the story very intresting so i would love to read it.

well i read the manga a while ago or very long ago ^^ and i was very happy when on intenret they said there was a short animation coming of it so i just had to go watch it and i like it so much i had to make a drawing of them ^^
more fans for this show is never a bad thing

i like the darkhaired boy a bit more, but i must praise you for the tiny jewlery detail on the ear of the lighthaired boy..i think it's a boy? not many people would actually add that slight detail that would work out so nicely
