Description
Nene Romanova from the original Bubble Gum Crisis OVAA present for a dear friend and another experiement in chibi-style.
I am happy how the actual picture turned out and how my fanart actually has similiarity to the original character, but this scan.... I have spend way too much time on postprocessing the scan, but it is still rather disappointing. Apparently certain tones just do not scan that well.

I see what you mean with the scanning, the original looks much more vibrant... It might be a problem with the paper's thickness? Have you tried putting an actual, thick white sheet of paper below, before scanning?
Maybe I should give scanning it a shot...
I could write volumes about how much I love it, but you already know that.
