Description
So I had to take a break from my stressful projects and do something thats been floating around in my head. I think this is the first real artwork I've don't for myself in a long time and I really like it.

I sketched this a month ago - its a terrible little simple sketch with a darker feel than this. I think that this is a sort of self portrait. The shell being that front that people put on for the world around them to see, or maybe its simple what the world sees. Inside though there is a person just trying to protect their inner self from the outside world. Their shell like their outward front may not be perfect and smooth and it may be worn for wear but thats what is seen and judged. I guess maybe my self conscious was just trying to remind me that I'm still in here, just like everyone is inside themselves.
